Singer , songwriter , producer and remixer Ellis Miah has collaborated on hits for artists like BTS , Jennifer Lopez, Sia, Backstreet Boys, Christina Aguilera, Miley Cyrus, Big Freedia, Annie Lennox, Loleatta Holloway, Yoko Ono and Siedah Garrett, to name a few that make up his eclectic discography.
A native New Yorker, LA-based Miah’s gift for combining Pop, Soul, Hip-Hop and Dance has landed him on the Billboard charts 22 times, touring internationally and securing many national TV sync placements (ABC’s Primetime Nightline, Klondike, Nissan, Showtime, VH1). Interest in his remix work ushered in his beginnings as a DJ, enlisting clients like Ace Hotel, Xbox, Lifetime, HBO and the BAFTAs. His songwriting efforts with the Grammy winning Siedah Garrett found his work on Entertainment Weekly's Best Christmas Albums list for his 9 co-penned songs for RuPaul's "Slay Belles" album . The co-pen songs run annually on a TV Christmas Special .
What’s next on the horizon for Miah? Joining forces with the international phenomenon BTS. As a featured songwriter on the album, Map of the Soul: 7, Miah is diving into the ever growing K-Pop and J-Pop market collaborating with writers , producers and artists. On the airwaves and dance floors Morgan Page's "Sweet Illusion" is receiving major Dj support, while on Screens around the world international Pop star Belinda's "Eden" is the theme song for the Netflix hit show of the same name both co-written by Miah.
